In this episode I begin my discussion with friend and atheist Cory Markum on the issue of objective moral realism and if it is possible to ground morality within a non-theistic worldview. This is part 1 in a three part series.
You can stream it here or find it on iTunes or Stitcher. You can also see this episode and more as well as other great podcasts by visiting The Christus Victor Network.
For more information on Cory, visit his blog at http://www.atheistrepublic.com/blogs/cory-markum or you can probably find him lurking (because don't you know that all atheists are lurkers) in The Freed Thinker Podcast Facebook group page.
Enjoy the show!

ReplyDeleteIsn't Social Contract theory the non-theistic moral world-view alternative?
ReplyDeleteVery interesting striking point with the child example. Seems to show great degree of empathy, and neuroscience has pointed out psychopaths lack empathy so why no mention?
Didn't Descartes doubt what he saw? And Hume doubt lots? What's a solipsist?
